3 Nutritious September Smoothies

September is here! This is great news if you love autumn and getting cosied up, as the nights begin to draw in. It does however mean that it’s about to start getting colder, which brings us the joys of colds and flu. So our idea behind this blog is to give you our new Smoothie recipes to help prevent those nasty colds and flu and give your body a nutritional boost.

The first smoothie we have for you is packed full with vitamins and minerals. The tea base has a liquorice sweetness, tangy citrus flavours, warm spices and a delicate floral taste. This is an ancient recipe blend to help maintain a healthy body & mind.

The borage oil is rich in Omega 6, a natural anti-inflammatory which stimulates circulation and helps strengthen the body's natural defences.

Dates help our bodies to fight infections and are another natural anti-inflammatory.

Bananas are a great source of energy and a source of fibre, useful to maintain bowel health.

Matcha Tea Powder helps to fortify the immune system and is thought to have antibiotic properties due to its high levels of potassium, Vitamin A & C, Iron, protein and calcium.
