This recipe makes 30g of solid perfume that you can personalise with your favourite essential oil. Keep it with you all the time or give it to someone else as a present.
Making your own perfume has never been this easy and you can carry it around with you without worrying about it leaking in your purse. Jojoba Golden is a carrier oil that’s easily absorbed and it won’t leave any greasy residue on your skin even after several applications.
11g Beeswax Yellow (#307)
18 Jojoba Golden Organic (#233)
1g Vitamin E #807
0.3g (or approx. 6 drops) of your favourite essential oil
Put the Beeswax in a heatproof bowl and gently melt it. Now, you can do this in the microwave if you are in a hurry or on a double boiler if you find it easier.
To make a double boiler you just need to use a glass or metal bowl and a saucepan making sure that the bottom of the bowl doesn’t touch the water sitting in the saucepan beneath it.
Once melted, remove from the heat and add the Jojoba Oil and mix carefully. Add then the Vitamin E and the essential oil you chose and stir well.
The last step is pouring your perfume into two tins and let it cool until it turns into a solid mixture. If you want to speed up the process, you can put the tins in the fridge.
Now you have your own personalised perfume ready to use in every occasion. Use your finger to apply a small amount of product on your wrists as it was a lip balm.
