Guest Recipe from Ula Blocksage - Anti-Wrinkle Deep Repair Facial Oil
Take a clean and disinfected jug / beaker and add all ingredients one by one starting with carrier oils, followed by the Vanilla extract and then the essential oils. Stir the mixture well and then pour into a glass amber bottle. We are choosing to store this facial oil in a dark bottle to help protect the product from sunlight, thus extending its estimated shelf life.
(You can indeed prolong the shelf life even further by adding some Vitamin E to your facial oil.)
Apply 3-4 drops to a freshly cleansed and toned face, morning and night. Firstly, warm the oil by rubbing your hands together and then apply it to your face, neck and very delicately around the contours of your eyes. If applying this oil in the morning allow the oil to sit on the face for 5 minutes to properly soak in before applying makeup.
This facial oil has a comedogenic rating of approximately 3. Although not highly comedogenic it should be used in moderation for those who suffer with acne prone skin. However, this facial oil is so moisturising that you will awake in the morning to a glowing and renewed complexion, or if applying it for day time wear, your skin will remain nourished and dewy throughout the day.
Regarded as a miracle beauty oil, cacay oil is one of the best known natural sources of Vitamin A. Beautifully floral and known as one of the best essential oils when it comes to anti-ageing. Rose Otto essential oil not only smells intoxicatingly beautiful, it is perfect for maturing skin. It absorbs deep into the skin helping to reduce dryness and smooth the complexion.
